This is from Dave Lindorf. Tomorrow, election day 2007, Dennis Kucinich,

plans to introduce a members privilege motion, calling for a floor vote to move his

bill of impeachment against Cheney to the House Judiciary Committee.

Since there are some key members of Congress, Democrats, Nancy Pelosi, John

Konyers, and Gerald Natler who are refusing to give Dennis's bill a hearing in the House Judiciary Committee.

The bill was submitted by Kucinich back on April 24th and it's been stalled ever since.

As Lindorf writes, Kucinich and impeachment bill against Cheney focuses on an issue that should be considered extremely urgent and timely by all members of Congress,

and that would be Cheney's illegal and criminal effort to whip up a new war against Iran.

Kucinich is being denied the right to have his important bill heard in the Judiciary Committee by Democrats,

so he's turned to a House rule that allows a member to attempt to break out of such political limbo by a vote,

by the Full House membership.

Now, he's unlikely to win because Democratic leaders, Democratic leaders reportedly plan on having some shills stand up

and make a motion to table the measure, which would effectively kill it.

Democrats.

So as Lindorf writes, it's critical that everyone who believes in protecting the Constitution from criminals like Cheney,

and who want to stop the March to warn Iran, contact their House member and demand that he or she vote against any move to table Kucinich's privileged motion.

And you should also tell your representative that he or she should vote in support of moving Kucinich's bill to the hearing stage in the Judiciary Committee.
