Chad, we are in a passage that I would say is not a passage that you look forward to reading.

It's probably definitely not a passage that you look forward to having to break down.

I mean, and if you're reading through Second Samuel, this is one of those passages that you read it and then you try to, you know, you go take a bath or something afterwards and

then try to get on with the rest of your day.

I don't know that I've ever had to break this

This passage down in detail and it's not one of the ones that you're like oh I can't wait for this one. You know there's there's some passages that you see coming down the pipe and you're like

Okay, I'm excited about that one. I got a lot to say about that. This is not one of those passages, but it is one of those passages that is in the scriptures. So the scriptures did not, God did not whitewash this one out. Nor did he just sort of elude to something happening

he gives you kind of more details than you're comfortable with.

It almost feels like we're back in the book of judges when we read this chapter.

It has all the markings of something that was lifted
