Last week we got to end in a real uplifting place where David's family has decided that they

are going to begin the process of destroying themselves and we had Ammon rape his half sister and now her brother has found out about it David has found out about it and we're going to kind of talk about some of

their reactions. Yeah so I think we kind of left off around verse 21 of

2nd Samuel 13 so this is right after Amnon speaks to his sister Taimar about what happened.

She's living, says, a desolate woman in her brother Absalom's house. Now, verse 21 records David's reaction,

which I think is interesting because when you compare and contrast this

with an earlier episode all the way back in Genesis,

we can kind of see how this

particular moment both in David's life and then in Jacob's life are pivotal

moments because after this things are very different with regard to the relationship between fathers and sons.

So verse 21 says that King David heard of all these things and he was very angry. Now what did he do with his anger?

Nothing. Just is just is angry. Yeah he's it says he's he's very angry, okay, so what did he do with this?

Nothing. So I'm assuming that you know he heard about he heard about the rape he was upset about it he was maybe
