That's what our teacher, Dr. J. Vernon McGee, warns us about as our study of God's word continues on Through the Bible.

I'm Steve Schwetz, inviting you to grab your Bible and open it to the New Testament book of 2 Peter chapter 2, starting with verse 3.

Now, if you're joining us for the first time, through the Bible is a five-year

study of God's entire word that alternates between the Old and the New Testaments. For example,

I just mentioned that we're in the New Testament book of 2nd Peter right now, but in a

couple of weeks, we're going to return to the Old Testament with terrific studies of Obadiah and Jonah.

Now, Dr. McGee affectionately named this journey,

the Bible Bus, as eventually we do travel through all 66 books. Every study is designed for you to

hop aboard at any time and ride as long as you can. Some of our faithful Bible Bus students

have been on the bus for literally decades. And for many others, this is their

first book. However, it doesn't really matter how long you've been with us. We're so happy to

have you here, and every weekday, we got a seat reserved just for you. So hop aboard as often as you
