Well, you likely ask yourself that question whenever you witness the dark side of our world.

Welcome to Through the Bible.

In this study, our teacher, Dr. J. Vernon McGee continues our study in the book of 2nd Peter,

and it's an exciting one as we travel back to the Old Testament and then witness two

godly men who lived in extremely wicked times.

The first is Noah, and you remember how God dealt with that world.

And then the second man is Lot, whose testimony reflects a great struggle in living a godly life.

And that's all ahead in just a moment.

But first, as you open your Bible to 2nd Peter Chapter 2, Greg Harris and I have an update on an exciting aspect of the ministry through the Bible, home groups around the world.

And Steve, we've been doing these conversations for something like a decade.

Yeah.

And we're about to do something that we've never done before in all those years. And probably even all the years before when you read responses. We are going to share with you responses from languages that we have never gotten responses from before. Yeah. History through the Bible. That's pretty cool, isn't it?

Yeah. And I love it because these are what I would call micro languages.

Yes, yeah. Nobody other than through the Bible, is going to spend time reaching these people

with a mass media strategy. Yes. But God, and the ability that he has given us to do this and to see

fruit come out of these small languages. Yes, so let's set the stage so you understand how this

works. These are radio home groups, and if you're newer in listening or you haven't heard us talk about this, this is a truncated version of the through the Bible program because it helps us introduce the concept of systematic Bible teaching in about six books of the Bible. And this started in India. And I think most of these languages are

Indian languages. And so it allows us, it's much less of an investment to get people

studying the Bible. And then once they've begun studying the Bible, the local people that
