Jamie is lecturer in politics and international relations at the University of Edinburgh.

He is an editor of Salvage Quarterly

and the author of The Struggle for the State in Jordan,

the Social Origins of Alliances in the Middle East,

co-winner of the Jardalia Political Economy Prize.

He is currently working on a book

on Counter-Revolution in the Middle East since 2011.
