This week, I'll be discussing anti-Semitism and the Labour Party with Richard Seymour.

Richard is the author of many books, including the Liberal Defence of Murder, Unhitched,

The Trial of Christopher Hitchens, Against Austerity, and most recently Corbyn, the strange rebirth

of radical politics. He is commissioning editor for the journal Salvage, and Richard recently published

a long read for Jacobin magazine entitled Labour's Antisemitism Affair. You can find it online.

The accusations of anti-Semitism that have been made against the Labour leadership and also much of the

grassroots, especially momentum and so on, it seems to have provoked two contrasting reactions on

the left. One reaction seems to have been to just deny these accusations out of hand and say, you know,

there's no problem of anti-Semitism on the left and that this is purely stirred up by the media

and parts of the PLP in order to undermine the Labour leadership.
