Hi, so I was thinking what is the one thing that stops us being our potential and living a life of our dreams? Well I couldnt think of one thing :P but I did get two things.

Now today I'd like to talk to you about beliefs.

Now beliefs make up your world.

And I really mean that because whether you think you're right or wrong, you're right.

And actually Henry Ford actually said that.

And if we take that statement, whether you think you're right or wrong you're right, it tells us no matter what you believe in your life,

it's true for you.

And in fact, there's probably been numerous times in your life

where that your belief was so strong,

no matter who tried to convince you that you were wrong,

you were actually completely unable to stop that belief that you were right, or you believed a certain thing about life or yourself.

Because you see, we take in external events through our five senses. And as we take that information in, whether it be through our eyes, our ears, our smell, our taste and our touch, or all at one time, which is usually the case,

our brain has to decode that and to try to figure out what's actually happening.

And usually it does this in accordance to some filters.

Now, the thing I want to talk to you about is our beliefs.

For example, if you have the belief that you weren't good enough,

you'd probably see the world as a place where you couldn't really succeed.

Now, it could be going for that ideal partner,

where you think that person's way too good for me.

Or it could be about going for a job and you think,

well, I can never do that job, I'm going to be found out.

It could be about beliefs about money if you're able to earn money

or not being able to earn money. Maybe you have a belief that you feel that money is a bad thing.
