Case just settled.

U.S. women's soccer players reached a decision with the governing body.

It was a six-year battle over equal pay, and they're getting a deal.

They're getting $22 million to split about a third of what they wanted,

and an additional $2 million to help women in their post

career career in their post soccer career and the argument was you're not paying us the same

as you are the men now normally i don't think the argument flows because uh and i said this before

i said this on my morning show, that it's all about money.

And if the men generate more money, then the men should get paid more.

Because in the end, it's selling those seats.

It's selling the broadcast rights.

But in this case, you have women who are world champions.

I mean, time after time, they've won the World Cup when it comes to women's soccer.

And the men's national team has never even made it to the semifinals ever.

And women's soccer, it is far more popular simply because it's a winner.

And there was inequality in pay.

And I think, and I don't know the money part of it, but if it is fairly equal or the men actually derive less revenue than the women, then you have a situation which clearly these women would have prevailed.
