Spru line or a trend across people of both parties in the post-Bush

Middle East, which is that the Islamic Republic has been seeing President Obama,

President Trump, and President Biden grapple with the growing demand on the left and

the right in America to be done with the region and that how that political demand

is pressured and filtered through not just domestic politics but bureaucratic

politics into the Washington elite and pushed Republicans and Democrats, men and women,

young and old,

in positions of service, to have to square the various circles

about long-term, medium-term, and short-term interest

in the Middle East, and long-term medium-term

and short-term force presence in the Middle East.
