We began in Mogadishu, a well-known capital on East Africa of Somalia,

but we go now to Kutu Kale prison, which is outside Niame that is the capital of Niger of great interest

because most recently Niger joined with its neighbors Burkina Faso and Mali to

break away from ECOWAS to form their own unit and

defense-strate democracy as we understand it.

But now there's been a prison break. Caleb, I was unaware of this prison entirely.

What was the, who was driving the break and what were the successes?

So it's not in the article I posted because they hadn't claimed responsibility yet, but it was the Islamic State.

The Islamic State's Sahel province is the one responsible for this.

And the Islamic State's weekly Alnabad newsletter, last week they took responsibility for

it and kind of gave a play by play of what happened.
