Well, I thought yesterday's show was very, very important.

As events were unraveling as we learned more information during the course of the program,

and rather than just constantly looping the same facts and jumping into gun control debates,

that we take a moment to be human beings and think about our fellow citizens,

whether they be little kids, teachers, whatever.

And out of that came really, I thought an extraordinary program with extraordinary callers.

Policeman, retired policeman, people in the military, retired military, janitor, truck drivers,

people from all walks of life, all parts of the nation, which is one of the magnificent things about this program,

the fact that we can all be at a national town hall meeting.

And when this program airs on the east coast and parts of the Midwest, the day is winding down.

When the west coast rush hours just starting to pick up.

And we were trying to determine what do you do about something like this.

And we spent the entire program on it.

That wasn't the plan, but so what?

And we talked about evil.
