And I have quite the accomplished woman here today. She has written several books. She's even written a book with her child.

I mean, what a cool experience. She has got courses and she is helping with all sorts of things like being triggered, healthier lifestyles, gentle parenting.

And the book that we're going to be talking about today is a devotional that you wrote

with your child, Ali.

You are seen 90 devotions to encourage stressed and anxious teens.

This is going to be such a fun time together, talking through all the things.

There's a lot of things. There's a lot of things that you do and that you offer. But let's kick it off

since this is the newest book. Can you talk about writing the idea process behind writing a book

with your child? So the only other person I know who's done it is

John Acuff and he wrote a couple books, a couple I might be wrong. But with his daughters,

for sure there's one called your new playlist. There's for sure at least that one. But this is a

unique thing that you've done and really a special a special one because Ali is sharing his

experience with growing up and you know all the sort of things that are tricky there especially

in this day where there's like extra stress and anxiety so yes what was what were those conversations

like like hey let's do a book together yeah I mean never in my wildest imagination did I think I would ever write a book myself, and

here I am 12 books later.

But never did I even begin to conceive that I would write one with my child, especially

with a teenager, right?

Because teenagers can be challenging.
