Summary

John Bevere joins host Ginny Yurich on The 1000 Hours Outside Podcast with the kind of story that wakes you up—in the best way: a kid who struggled with writing (his SAT English score was a 370) becoming the author of 25 books… because he couldn’t shake the sense that God was asking him to put something on paper. From an unexpected college conversion to a decades-long reluctance to talk about end-times, John explains why his newest message isn’t about charts, dates, or fear—it’s about preparation, eager anticipation, and living with an eternal perspective that actually makes you kinder, steadier, and more alive right now. You’ll hear a surprisingly beautiful “relationship, not religion” moment, a fresh picture of eternity that sounds nothing like floating on clouds, and why “the King is coming” is meant to produce courage—not escapism. my favorite right now. It's clean, light, and never taste artificial. And since it hydrates

better than water alone, I actually feel the difference. The kids' mixes have been a big shift

especially after being outside all day. Now they will happily drink cure. It's formulated with

to have John Bavir here.

1:16.4

Welcome, John.

1:17.4

No, the honor of the lifetime is if Jesus was on your podcast.

1:21.0

Yeah, that's true.

1:22.0

I mean, that would be a step up for sure.

But this is all incredible because you are so accomplished and you have impacted so many people. You've written 25 books, 25 books, translated into more than 150 languages. And yet, when you were in high school, writing and language were your worst subjects.

1:44.1

Without a doubt. Yes. Can you give some hope to the kids that are listening? They're like, I'm kind of struggling in school too, but you never know what God's going to do in your life. I mean, you know, when the Lord spoke to me in 1991 to write, I said, you obviously have so many kids, you're getting us confused with one another. I said, all you have to do is look at my ACT and SAT scores. My SAT score in English was 370. I've only met two people that scored

lower than me in the SAT. I mean, it's crazy. So, yeah. And I remember two women came to me
