Hope you're having fun playing outside with your kids.

And most certainly hope that this podcast is encouraging you and inspiring you to set aside some time in your calendar,

to set aside some time in your life to get your kids outside, get your family outside, make memories together, and make that a priority.

There are not many activities that I know of that offer as much for your kids as nature play.

You know, I think with a lot of nature play and a lot of reading in early childhood and you know

childhood in general you're really going to set your kids up for success down the

road so we are super excited about having this

podcast and having the opportunity to talk about the benefits of time outside.

What we're going to talk about today the benefits of time outside.

What we're going to talk about today is a total buzzword.

We're going to talk about socialization.

And the reason I know socialization is such a huge buzzword is because we are a homeschooling family.

We have five kids ages 10 down to 2 and we have always homeschooled.

And so, you know, the question as a homeschooling family that you hear most often is what about

socialization?

And so because of our homeschooling family,

I just know that, you know, that concept,

that socialization concept is an important one, and one that weighs, you know, weighs heavily on families.

And, you know, the social piece, children learning social skills, you know, nature can play a huge

part in that. So that's what we're going to talk about today.
