Leifeld 34 year veteran of the comic book industry. I have produced X-Force, Cable, Deadpool,

Captain America, Avengers,

started image comics with my buddies, Youngblood, brigade, so many.

I have had such a fun career.

It has been an absolute blast making comics, producing thousands and thousands of pages of comic books.

It was my mission in life once I pulled my first comic books off the spinner act

to duplicate those comic books, to make my own comic books.

And for those of you who have taken your typing paper,

your line art paper, your notebook paper, and folded them up and made comic

books. That was me. That was all of us who were breaking in. We made our own comic books. And here

at Robeservations, we talk comic books and we talk comic books and the impact that comic books

has had on pop culture. And my saying

and my phrase that I'm going to repeat again and again and again is that the past informs the

future. So much of what we've covered here on 22, 22 episodes of our observations to date is the comic books of the 70s, how they are informing the

movies you are seeing in 2020, how they are informing Black Widow, the Eternal

Shang Chi, the master of Kung Fu, the entire future film slate that Kevin Feige has put

together for you. That is a product of the bronze

era of comics, which was the comic books that was coming out, that were dropping, that I was

pulling off the spinnerax when I was a wee lad of seven and eight years old, my skateboard, my

bike. It took me all over Orange County looking for new spinner racks, new comic books.
