Before we begin with today's episode, I'd like to take a second to pay tribute to my good friend,

John Allor. Some of you may know John from his podcast on website, Who Killed Teresa,

which chronically unsold murder of his sister Teresa in 1978. John tragically passed away

in a biking accident near his home in North Carolina on the 30th of March.

John never wavered in his commitment to a sister's case. For years he dealt into every

possible lead, convinced that the authorities had botched the investigation. John truly was a

vocal advocate for victims' rights, and he used his platform to raise awareness about other

unsolved murders throughout Canada. In addition to his podcast and blog, John also wrote a book

about his sister's case, which was titled, Wish You Were Here, a murdered girl, a brother's

quest, and the hunt for Canadian serial killer. It's an absolute tragedy to know that John has

passed away without discovering the truth about his sister's murder. He was a massive source of

inspiration to me. I will always be grateful for John's kindness. In fact, he was one of the people

who encouraged me to begin this podcast. My condolences go out to John's family,

friends and loved ones during this difficult time. To honour John's memory, I aim to continue

his legacy by delving into more unsolved cases on the show and also on the website.
