Hello and welcome to my new episode 254 of Real Life Go Stories.

I have two spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from January the 10th, 2023 and story number one comes from Priyanka.

My maternal granddad was in the Indian Army and this was right after the independence and he was posted in the Himalayan border of Ladakh,

where those days the temperature at night could go down to minus 25 to minus 30.

They were driving a truck to one of the areas for a rescue mission where there had been a landslide.

There were six of them and they were the first rescuers on coal.

This was at around 2am and visibility was almost nothing as there was a drizzle.

The area they were going to was about an hour away and now having driven for almost one hour and 45 minutes

and not being able to understand whether they were going wrong or what happened to their navigation tool.

They stopped the truck and two of them, the driver and the one who was sitting with him, got off trying to get a better visibility.

And after about a minute they shouted to the others, calling them to come over.

They all got down and followed their voices as they couldn't see them with their torches.

After walking for a bit they saw some light and headed towards it.

It was a small tee shop and there was a guy who was making tea and the other two officers were standing there.

They all talked and drank tea and were about to leave after getting some directions.

The others walked in front while my granddad fell behind, paying the guy.

When all of a sudden the guy just held my granddad's hand and said my grandfather's name and told him not to go there in a very strange voice,

staring in such a strange way that he creaked my grandfather out.

And my granddad just jerked his hand away and threw the money and ran up to the other officers.

Seeing my granddad a little shaken, one of his friends asked what had happened.

And my granddad told them what happened.

Surprisingly no one laughed or made fun of it as he had expected.
