Woohoo! Welcome to the Samwork All-Played podcast. We are so happy you're here today, and

yeah, we're currently looking out the window on billowing smoke flames on the mountains

a few miles away, so it's kind of weird here in Boulder right now.

We apologize for any background noise, too, because there's helicopters and planes going

in to fight, which is very cool to see, and also just makes me think about how just how

amazing people are right now. Like, you know, people stepping up in terms of volunteering

for the fire department and, you know, doing all of these heroic things, but so there

might be some background noise. We also are dog sitting a puppy, so a lot going on.

I feel a little bit like a five-year-old kid right now, because every time there's

like one of the big tankers that goes by, I'm like, oh, fun.

Boo. Well, it's funny because I sit here. This is my desk right now that we're talking

out on the podcast, and it's also my Zoom desk. And so on Zoom calls, I'll just intermittently

get up and be like, I need to video this. This is the coolest helicopter coming in right

now. Yeah, we're so thankful to the firefighters and everyone else that, and also sending

our love to everyone dealing with basically anything, whether it's fires or other things.

And yeah, it's, it hits really close to home, not just literally, but also figuratively,

because we're most of where it's burned so far is called Hyal Ranch, which is some of

our favorite trails for our hill workouts. We always went to this one spot there for our

hill workouts. So we were, we were talking earlier that those Strava local legends segments

are safe at least for a little bit. At least for the next 90 days. Maybe a firefighter

will take them if they put on their phone GPS. It's, it's pretty epic. It's, it's actually,

it's really tragic to see. So we saw it start on Saturday, and we were sitting here,
