In today's show, we're gonna talk about the importance

of making a promise, not just to yourself but to others and

specifically the promise you've made to your spouse.

We live in a society that doesn't necessarily value the keeping of promises and of what those

vows mean not just between two people but to their community at large.

And I want you guys to listen to this quote.

The author's name is John Green and he wrote this in his book called The Fault in

Our Stars. I've actually not read the book but I found this quote and it

literally took my breath away. So listen to this, it's two characters that are speaking

in the book and the one says

says some people don't understand the promises they're making when they make them I

said right of course but you keep the promise anyway. That's what love is. Love is keeping the promise anyway.

And I read those words and I thought, oh my goshosh am I keeping my promises are you keeping your

promises what are those vowels that we've made to each other as spouses to our families to our
