Hey, welcome to Java with Julie, and today we have a full house.

I have a group of women with me who have together gone through the study Passion Pursuit

and led by their fearless leader, Pam Nelson.

She got them together and I was just overjoyed to be able to join your group a few months

ago and hear kind of the progress and we thought

hey someday we got to get this group on Java so you brought four friends with you today I did I did

they are four young women actually we met through the mops ministry at our church and we are part of

the fearless AB tech worship team and we had a midwinter break and wanted to do a study.

And I said, well, I think there'll be a study that will really get us intimate very quickly.

And it was passion pursuit. And it has been such a powerful thing to go through this all together, right, ladies?

Yes. I remember that meeting where I joined you.

I remember it was cold and snowy, and I remember I had a cold.

It's funny good things you remember, but the thing that really struck me the most was how honest you were with each other.

And also, this is dating myself a little bit because I'm looking

at you as very young women now. But the kinds of issues that you were open about that you were

struggling through, I would say that is commonplace for your generation. Wasn't so common for me and

Pam when we were young married. Yeah, absolutely. And the fact that they would

be authentic enough and vulnerable enough to talk about it was new to me. I felt a little out of my

league when it came to leading a group like this because I grew up in a generation where this

wasn't really talked about, even though I was getting married my whole learning on the subject

was no no no no go and so leading a passion pursuit study for me I thought

hmm God what do I have to bring to the table but we've been married 31 years and
