This is getting worse and worse. Okay, because of how bad the intro is, this episode is going to be amazing. Without fail, that's what seems to go down. That's usually how it works. All right. And we got a good one today. An episode we are so passionate on. You probably click this thing like, whoa, bro. Why do you hate meal plans? Like what's going on?

So how are we going to transition into this talk?

Well, you have a quote that you just like brought up to me, I think, right? So I think it's important to talk about that. We do like our quotes without fail. Now I just have to actually locate said quote. It's at the top of the sheet that we have, the 95%. Okay, there we go. So, fun fact, dieting is often synonymous with suffering. So consider the reverse. You know, a lot of time, they'll say only five people succeed in their diet. So that's a quote you'll get. Only 5% of people will lose weight and keep it off. But I really like this quote because what they're saying is no, 95% of people

don't fail in their diets. 95% of people's diets failed them. That's something to take home.

Like that's, that's a big quote. That's deep. The reason I say this is even, you know, I was,

I'm working with a new client. He was giving me his background. What he's done. I said,

hey, you've probably lost weight before. And here's the thing. I've said this on the podcast before.

Anyone can lose weight, losing weight, you know, you'll lose weight to some degree in your life.

A couple pounds, tons, pounds, whatever. The problem is, and like there isn't a dieting or weight loss

epidemic. It's a weight regain epidemic. You know, people will lose this weight, you know, especially you'll moat. You'll incur this

most often, you know, after Thanksgiving, Christmas, when people are really stuffing and really eating quite a lot of food, they'll make a vow to, you know, lose some weight. But the problem is a lot of people do it in unhealthy ways. And, you know, a common thing we'll see as meal plans, we'll get to that. but even one of my clients said yeah i lost 40 pounds but i was only eating pea soup it's all i was allowed to eat and it's like of course you're going to lose weight it's something special with the pea soup you're just not going to be getting the calories and you need you're going to lose weight and that's not sustainable sure you appeal 40 pounds but at the end of the day you're going to eat pea soup for the rest of your life and never eat food. Like food is a wonderful, fun, tasty thing. And we want to incorporate in every way.
