So I'll go in Marshall here, welcome back to The Realignment.

We've got a great guest for everybody today.

He is a Houston-based lawyer.

But for our purposes, Mark is just a really smart guy who likes to observe politics.

He's been blogging and writing about it since the early 2010s.

He came to my attention on Twitter of all places.

It's not just a cancerous place.

With some really insightful takes around where he thinks the future of the conservative

movement will be.

I should note, Mark is a moderate Democrat, but he's a very astute observer given his

Texas Houston perch.

Seems to really have his eye on what the future coalitions will look like.

Gives us a real good diagnosis of where the Democrats went wrong, why things fell apart

for them during the Obama era and where things are headed.

I love talking to Mark Marshall.

I don't know, but he's one of my favorite episodes in a long time.

Yeah, Mark was great.

We're always interested in seeing what we were right about, what we were wrong about on

the show.

And with Mark, this is interesting because he's a perfect person to discuss how can the
