Thanks so much for joining me today.

Today I'm going to talk to you about negative and

positive complaints and complaining and you might be surprised like there is a

positive there is. But first I'm going to talk to you about the

negative which we're all familiar with complaining is what God the

Israelites into so much trouble in the wilderness surely if, if we know that story, we know how God looks on a complaining

spirit. Numbers 1427. How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who complain against me?

I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against me.

It's God speaking, and the Israelites were muttering and grumbling in their hearts and to one

another and to Moses and God heard all their complaints as against him and he calls them an evil generation, far

be it from us to imitate that kind of complaining and grumbling against the Lord. This kind of muttering and grumbling and grumpy complaining is a sin and God doesn't take it kindly.

This kind of complaining is usually either going on in our own heads a little conversation,

the background music we're providing for ourselves, or it comes out of our mouth complaining to others, a horizontal complaining,

reciting our grievances to one another.

And this is all condemned by Paul and Philippians 214. says do all things without complaining and

disputing so no arguing no complaining but why he goes on in this passage in Philippians says that you may become

blameless and harmless children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine

as lights in the world holding fast the word of life.

All right, we are all becoming, notice that, that you may become blameless and harmless.

We're all becoming someone.

We're growing in one direction or the other.
