Hey guys, welcome to episode number 184 of the Industrial Strength Show.

I am in a good mood today.

I might not sound like it.

My voice is a little shot, getting a little rundown from lack of sleep but I'm in a good mood because I literally just pressed the send button and sent off the email containing the final edit.

It better be the final edit anyway. I haven't checked to see if I got an email response

but the final edit of my book proposal has just been sent out 11 months, maybe even a year, but I think I started it in

November of last year. So 11 months, 91 pages, 20,000 plus words later. You have no idea how good it felt to get rid of that thing and just cross it off the to-do list once and for all.

Well, at least for the time being, I could cross it off the list.

Anyway, if all goes well, I guess,

you know, I'll get a book deal, a real book deal,

and then the real work begins and then that to-do list will

start getting filled up again but for now I'm gonna enjoy the moment every

because everyone I know that has written a book, that wasn't self-published at least, they all

say it's like the worst experience ever. You know you work your ass off to try to get this

thing and then it's you know what's the old expression be careful what you wish for.

You know I just I heard once publishing companies are involved in book agents and you know there's money involved and deadlines that's when things start to suck a little bit.

But listen, I've written a bunch of books.

You know, somebody and I, we have strength,

barbell training essentials is a monster, special was a ton of work our

CPPs football manual it you know it almost doesn't sound like much like oh yeah the manual that

accompanies our our football certification course that thing took over a year to

write and that that's you know two guys helping each other splitting up the work only dealing with the two of us.
