Hello again, boys and girls. This is Alonzo Bowden with episode 183 of my podcast, Who's Paying Attention? A lot going on this week.

Might as well get right to it. And unfortunately, starting out with sad news on a large and a small scale.

On a large scale, there was a suicide bomber at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England.

And, you know, it's the same thing. Just angry Muslim kid blows up a concert.

And I'm going to talk about that more in a minute.

But as I said, more than one sad thing on a smaller and more personal note

Nikki Hayden who few of you have heard of most of you probably haven't

Nikki Hayden was a motorcycle racer he was the last American world champion in MotoGP which is

the highest level of motorcycle racing and a guy who I was lucky enough to have known to have met a few times at various races,

he got killed.

He was hit by a while riding a bicycle while he was training and massive head injuries

and he died.

So on a more personal note, that was sad to me because I met the guy.

And he was a good guy. He young he's only 35 and he's

gone so that's that now getting back to the to the suicide bomber uh salman abetty is the name it's

it's that same narrative, right?

So the kid was born in Manchester, grew up in Manchester, went back to Libya, from Libya, traveled.

His family's Libyan, went back to Libya from there, traveled to Syria, became radicalized, and came back to Manchester, and for whatever reason, decided to blow up this concert and kill 20 people.

And many, if not all of them, were young people, including kids.

And it's horrible.

And, you know, listen, we're going to go through this.

We've been through this before.
