Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to Jabba with Julie. We have a special Thanksgiving episode for you today, focusing on, guess what?

Thankfulness. And two wonderful women are joining us to share kind of their journeys of learning to be thankful and have grateful hearts through different difficulties.

And so you will know, of course, Linda Dillo very well.

She's my companion, co-founder of authentic intimacy on the podcast often.

And then Trisha Lott Wilford, you were on the podcast a few months ago,

sharing your story of losing a husband at a young age

and surviving that with your kids and finding the Lord through that.

And so our audience knows you too.

So I thought you put you two together and talk about thankfulness.

It's something that you both have written on and taught on and experienced personally.

And you just met, but seemed to immediately hit it off.

Strong starts.

Yeah.

Kindred spirits, as Anne of Green Gables would say.

Yeah, I can tell if I just left the room, you guys would talk until midnight.

So lots of commonalities.

But the thing that is bringing us together today, as I mentioned, is to talk about

thankfulness and gratefulness.

And the whole purpose of Thanksgiving is not just to eat turkey, which that's fun too.

Or even just to be with family, but to turn our hearts towards what it looks like to be thankful.

And there are some years when that's easy, and you can easily kind of list off the blessings that you're grateful for.

And there are other years and seasons of life where you just frankly want to say, I'm not grateful right now.
