Hi, I'm Olympian, Kerry, Tullifson, and welcome to the C-Tollie-R-R-Rund podcast. Today we are kicking

off the third of four episodes

all in memory of Gabe Grunwald. Gabe was a good friend, a fellow pro-runner, a rare cancer advocate,

and the founder of the Brave Like Gabe Foundation. She passed away in June 2019 at the age of 32

from adenoid cystic carcinoma.

Her legacy with the foundation continues to inspire people to keep running on hope,

while also working to find better, more effective treatments for ACC and other types of rare cancers.

It is no surprise that this week's guest on C-Tolly Run was someone that Gabe connected with

and spent time with before she passed away. Today my interview is with Megan Hill. Megan is a wife,

a runner, a nurse, and became friends with Gabe after finding out she too had a super rare cancer,

adrenal cortical carcinoma, another ACC.

Gabe had adenoid cystic carcinoma.

So the ACCs are the same with the acronym, but they are totally different cancers.
