0:04.5	We're going to talk about an interesting news item that came up in your news feed probably a month or so ago about sex education.

0:16.7	A few different prominent news sources essentially had all kind of catchy headlines talking about
0:22.6	abstinence is absent education is missing a pretty big thing. It's not working. It's not efficient.
0:29.6	And the stats don't even prove that it's helpful. So why are we doing this? Yeah. So there has the research

0:38.9	like a meta-analysis, which sounds like a fancy word. Hey, you have your doctorate, Julie. Tell us about
0:44.1	a meta-analysis. A meta-analysis is basically looking at lots of studies. So, you know,
0:49.9	you can have studies that look at a focus group of 10 people or a thousand people, look
0:55.1	at people at different countries, different regions, different age.
0:59.0	A meta-analysis says, I want to take, I want to back up and look at all these studies and
1:03.9	figure out what they're all together seeing.
1:06.8	So it has more weight than just one research study. Which makes sense.
1:11.6	Yeah.
1:12.6	Because you're not just looking at one.
1:13.6	Right.
1:14.6	You're comparing a whole group.
1:15.6	Yeah.
