You know when you come is how you finish and if you drag your feet into the gym you're dreading it you're i don't want to go i can't do it you know when you come in you're tired you're yawning you're going to have the most foo-foo horrible workout whereas if you can do whatever it takes to trick your mind into getting in there and crushing it you'll carry that momentum forward you know if you start strong you will finish strong all it takes is literally some pump up music, a motivational video, like whatever it is, some pre-workout. Yep. Number two, just fake it till you make it. You know, there's going to be a lot of times. What we mean by this is where you're just feeling tired, you're feeling drained, you might be a little bit or on top of hyping yourself up, it's all about mindset. If you go in and you say, you know what, Josh and his buddy Jeremy just have this thing where every time, even if his legs are sore after sets and after reps, you go, I'm fresh. I'm feeling fresh. And believe it or not, the mind is just so powerful that you're going to trick yourself into thinking, you know what, I can do this. But if every time you touch that bar or if every time you pick up the dumbbell, you're like, oh, another workout, man, it is not going to be a good one. That is, this is the biggest one. Out of anything I can recommend, it's this. I come to the gym a lot of the time and I'm dead tired. I'm dreading doing everything. I'm sore as can be, but I just say, I'm fresh. I feel better than ever. I'm going to kill this workout. |
| 1:47.3 | And by saying these positive affirmations, your brain will believe it. Just the same with the negatives. You know, I hate when people say, oh, I'm dumb. I'm incapable. I'm fat. I can't get in shape. And they constantly repeat these things, you know, instead, like, really use those positive. Trick your mains and trick your mind into positives and really empower yourself with this little trip. Number three is to prepare your body for the gym. So this is quite simple, but it's huge. Make sure you're getting enough rest. Make sure you are planning your gym time. Don't just say I'm going to go to the gym today. Say I'm going to this gym at this location at this time to work out for this long. |

And if you go there, you're probably going to drag your feet and end up on the massage chair. And then also make sure you're getting the right nutrition in, right?
