Say goodbye to the food police and hello to peace. Welcome to the Love Food podcast, hosted by

0:06.9

dietitian and food behavior expert Julie Duffy Dillon. This authentically engineered series is in

0:13.5

the form of a love letter welcoming you to reconnect with food. Now pour a cup of coffee or a

0:19.9

margarita and let's begin.

Hi and welcome to episode 176 of the Love Food podcast. I'm Julie Duffy Dillon, registered dietician, and partner on your

0:42.4

food piece journey. I am so glad you're here. Thank you for connecting today. I feel really lucky

0:49.9

that many of you listening are learning how to become dietitians or therapists or doctors or nurses

0:57.9

or school teachers or maybe you already are one. And I mean, seriously, it's such an honor to be

1:35.3

kind of health care fields. And we have a letter from someone today who is doing work to help

1:41.5

along the food piece journey, yet finding so much of the training is counter

1:46.8

healing. What do you do? Well, I know what I did. I called my friend and colleague Kimmy Singh,

1:54.2

and if you have listened to the Love Food podcast for a little while, you may know Kimmy's name

1:59.8

because Kimmy was a grad student of mine when she was

2:03.5

at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and also was the co-host of the PCOS and Food

2:09.3

Peace podcast that we rebroadcast this summer. Well, now Kimmy is a dietician and when I read this letter, I was like, oh my gosh, Kimmy is going to have

2:20.8

some amazing insight for someone on this path. So I cannot wait for you to hear the letter and hear

2:26.7

from Kimmy. But before we get to all that, I want to let you know about a new project that I have been
