Okay, so my guest on the show today is Dr. James Gordon.

Dr. Gordon is a Harvard-educated psychiatrist who is internationally recognized for

using self-awareness, different forms of meditation, diet, and group support to treat

psychological trauma. He has traveled to some of the most emiserated and war-torn places of the

world, including Haiti after the devastating earthquake,

sub-Saharan Africa, Gaza, Marjorie Stileman Douglas High School in the wake of the mass shooting,

New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Sonoma after the ravaging fires,

and really there is almost no place Jim hasn't gone to help people heal

from acute trauma. His work is done under the Aegis of the Center for Mind Body Medicine,
