maybe you can relate to where I found myself just a few weeks ago. I sat staring at the empty

grid paper pencil in hand. I had already decided what I wanted to grow and how many I wanted to plant,

roughly, but now I was looking at this grid paper and I was wondering,

how do I put this garden layout puzzle together? Add in succession planting and companion planting

and what seemed like a fun winter garden planning session turned into a head scratching 3D puzzle. It's not like I've never done it

before, but each garden year, my garden has grown adding layers of perennial plantings and different

methods like straw bales. Where would I start this year? If you've ever found yourself in this position,

whether your garden space is on the large

side like mine or you're just starting out, I'm going to walk you through how I settled my

garden layout for 2021. These precise steps helped me to plan my entire garden year out from early

spring plantings to the summer garden through the fall and winter and while your

plan may look different and most likely will my goal is that you can take bits of my process and

apply it to your own garden as you plan your garden layout once you're done with your layout you can get

ready to get started planting your garden this year,
