Organic REV

The first thing to understand about REV is that it is not an ordinary humic acid product that is chemically-extracted from leonardite, lignite, or other coals.  Rather, it is a 100% naturally-occurring carbon, humic acid & fulvic acid source - along with exceptionally high levels of naturally-occurring microbial biomass that can increase nitrogen efficiency by up to 25%.

REV replaces depleted soil carbon & bacterial biomass - and absorbs nutrients to make them more readily available to plants via their root systems.

Hey there. I hope you're doing great today and that this episode finds you in the middle of garden

0:05.7

planning and maybe even some garden research. Let me ask you, have you ever begun researching

0:12.4

companion planting? You head into it hopeful, excited to discover new and unique fun possibilities.

0:20.1

Maybe you want to get more crops in the same space,

0:22.8

or you want to repel bad insects or attract good ones. But soon, if you've had a similar experience

0:30.1

as I have, you can't keep all the information straight. How much of it is based on good science

0:36.7

and proven experience, and how much of it can

0:39.6

be chalked up to old wives tales? And what about when you find a certain companion combination

0:45.9

that's listed on one site as good and on another side as bad? It's enough to make your head spin.

0:54.0

In my garden, I've been testing different

0:56.1

companion combinations since my first year. Some of those listed as bad combinations

1:01.7

rarely seem to be all that bad for me, honestly. And then some of them that were considered

1:07.8

as good combinations, I really couldn't tell a difference like other

1:11.9

gardeners could. It's likely you've had the same experience if you've delved into companion

1:17.2

planting at all. I certainly don't want to add to your confusion. I think for all of us,

1:22.4

we need to research trusted sources. The best one I've found so far is Jessica Walliser's book,

1:27.8

Plant Partners. I devoured that book in a weekend. It was so good. But then after we find those

1:33.6

resources that we trust, we need to test them in our own gardens. Only then can we start to draw

1:40.1

some conclusions about what might work for our gardens and what really isn't worth the time.

1:46.2

Thankfully, most companion planting information out there shows good companions and you rarely can

1:51.8

go wrong testing those. That said, I have experienced a few companion planting disasters.

1:58.8

They're probably not what you think, actually. In this episode,
