tomatoes and peppers. And most beginning indoor seed starters begin with tomatoes and peppers.

And while it's easy enough to buy those tomato and pepper plants at the garden center or to plant those seeds

indoors, what about the timing of when those plants go out into the garden? And how does that

timing affect either when you purchase those transplants or when you start those seeds indoors?

With these two staple crops in most gardens, I don't want us guessing on this.

We need to have our plant timing dialed in. Sure, Mother Nature has been known to throw a wrench

or two in the best made plans, but we don't have to leave even this to look. There are ways we can

ensure we've done our very best to choose the

proper plant timing of two of the crops you are probably growing in your garden this year.

In today's episode, we're going to talk about plant timing tips for tomatoes and peppers

that go beyond simply knowing your average last frost date.
