This is Nancy Wilson, thanks so much for joining me today.

The topic today is gratitude and the impact it has on us as Christian women.

In other words, this is a very big topic at the enormous topic, but we can do a quick

little drive by here today.

And since God mentions it so often in the Bible, we should always be up for reminders and

review.

So I'm going to start off with the negative effects of ingratitude, Romans 12, 21, because

although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became

futile in their thoughts and their foolish hearts were darkened.

Food is a spiritual exercise.

And when we neglect it, we bear the bitter fruit of ingratitude in our hearts and minds.

Our thoughts become meaningless without any significance.

In other words, we lose our minds and our hearts become more and more foolish, growing

darker and darker.

We see the fulfillment of this in our culture today.

It is as so many people have been visited with a spiritual madness.

They can't think in a straight line.

They say the most outlandish things, their own thoughts and their own heads have become

futile, and futility comes out their mouths.

It is all meaningless gibberish.

If you read that hideous string, you might remember the scene at the banquet where everyone
