I wrote this quote down the other day, from Richard Sibbs, thinking I might be able to

use it somehow or future podcast.

So low, here it is, here's his quote, some talk of truth, but it is better to walk in

it.

Now it's fairly easy to talk the talk.

You can learn the hymns, you can recite the creed, you can even do the Bible reading

challenge.

But are you walking with the Lord?

Are you walking in truth?

Or are you just walking and talking?

So let's talk about what it means to walk in truth.

Walking of course is a metaphor for living.

We learn to walk when we're young and we walk all our lives and walking requires so

many choices, countless decisions every day, which way should I go?

What should I do next?

When we wake up in the morning, we put our feet on the ground and we start walking.

And obviously, unless we have an injury of some kind, we're walking all our lives.

This is a metaphor.

Scripture gives us two choices.

We can walk in truth or we can walk in darkness.
