I will also include an occasional Red Zone rant, and yeah, let's go ahead and do that today. Here's my topic. It doesn't take six. Doesn't take six. What do I mean by

it doesn't take six? There are toxic people in cultures, in teams, on teams, whether it's in sports,

the workplace, doesn't matter. They're poisons. They're negative. They're divisive.

They don't care about their teammates. They don't follow processes. They violate values. They are the

undertaker. And my point is it doesn't take six of these to train reciculture. It only

takes one. I just said they're poisons. They're poison. Think about it if you had poison in your body.

Would you just let it run its course? Would you just hope that it figured it out and went away?

No, but that's what we do in the workplace too often. What would you do if you had poison in your body?

First of all, it wouldn't take six to kill you. It'd only take one. You'd take immediate, drastic action. You'd get after it.

Now, ideally leaders should hold these slugs accountable, but peers should also call them out.

Get some guts and call them out. You don't have to be a jerk, but you can say stuff like,

hey, that's not the way we do it here. That hurts the whole team when you do that.

You can say it without being

personal or caustic or profane, but say it. You got to care enough to call out and confront. Now,
