Hey there, I have been hearing from so many of you that you are like me ordering your seeds

0:07.4

and getting really excited about what you're going to grow this year.

0:11.0

But you probably are also like me and you're thinking, so many choices.

0:16.7

How do you even begin to decide which variety to plant?

0:23.2

Even if you know which vegetables, herbs, or fruits you're begin to decide which variety to plant? Even if you know which vegetables,

0:28.6

herbs, or fruits you're going to plant, then you have to start choosing varieties and it can become a lot to decide. Like most other summer star of gardeners in the winter, I spend many of my days

1:26.2

use. We'll talk mostly about how you want to eat the edible crop,

1:30.6

but we'll also talk about why we'd want to plant a certain herb or flower as well.

1:35.9

This is one of those subjects I can get really excited about,

1:38.9

and I can't wait to share with you these things today.

1:43.4

Welcome. I'm Jill, and in 2013 2013 I started my first garden as a new

1:47.6

stay-at-home mom wanting to do my part to provide for my family. Over the years, I stumbled my way

1:53.0

into becoming a gardener and in this podcast, I want to help other new gardeners just like I was
