Hey, everybody welcome back to another mini episode of for the love of money ones that I like to call my two cents and today we're going to talk about what type

of upbringing you had and how it might be affecting you financially.

Now I feel like there are three categories that you could have fallen into during your upbringing

that kind of dictate your thoughts and feelings and habits around finances.

You know, it kind of dictates to you until you decide to change it, that is, what your money mindset is like.

And those three categories are, number one,

where you taught to struggle, or number two,

were you taught to just pay the bills, or sometimes people would like to say just get by, or number three, were you taught to thrive?

Now listen, I first want to say regardless of which category

you end up falling into it does not determine your long-term outcome. It might

have set you on a certain path up to this point, but every single day

has grown adults we get to choose. We get to choose new expectations of ourselves. We get to choose

new habits, new thoughts, new beliefs, new work ethics, you name

it. That is one of the most beautiful things about life is every single moment of every single day,

you get to choose. But it also helps to acknowledge where you

came from and how you were built so that you know what you have to do to go to the levels that you want to go to.

So let's break down each of these categories in detail real quick so that you can identify

which one you likely came from and then talk a little bit about what it takes to get where you want to go.
