Seth Harwood received an MFA in fiction from the Iowa Writers Workshop and went on to build a large

readership for his first novel, Jack wakes up by serializing it, as a free audiobook online.

Harwood's novels and stories have been downloaded over 1 million times,

and Seth actively engages in online and offline promotion of his

writing because the publishing industry has changed so much and Seth today

confirms a new secret project.

You know, one of the things that's great about working with Thomas and Mercer,

I mean, right, I mean, you were asking me earlier about the publishing industry and how much it's changed and

and back when I was doing the podcast you know that was sort of the the forefront of one technology

and it felt like sort of the cutting edge now you know things have changed so much even more and

I'm looking at my publisher and they you know they really have a sense about how to sell copies of books and they refer to it sometimes as

units and so they can change the pricing of a book or change and as an author what's

wonderful through that is really getting the opportunity to put my work out to a really wide audience.
