I'm Erin Scala and here's our show today. Oh, In a warm-up a couple weeks ago, I asked some people what the craziest strength they've ever had was.

But it really got me thinking, what is the craziest strength of all time in all of human history?

It's difficult to beat Cobra Blood and there are some wines that are

pretty wild too but I did a little research and I think I've found it. I think I

found the craziest fermented of all time.

It was drunk by people who lived around 2000 BC in modern day Turkmenistan.

They worshipped in fire temples, literally temples with

bright white walls and bonfires in the middle, and the white ash left in the fire

was meant to have special religious significance. Their whole religion and

culture may have been a prototype of the Zoroastrian religion who believed they

live in a universe with good and evil components, half day, half night,

and that everyone has the power of will and choice,

the results of which will affect their afterlife.

If you make good choices, a sweet smelling maiden will meet you at the bridge to the

afterlife and lead you to hell.

So a few archaeologists have examined the drinking vessels found in the fire temples

and discovered that these people were drinking a mixed fermented

beverage that included ephedra, cannabis, and poppy.
