Organic REV

The first thing to understand about REV is that it is not an ordinary humic acid product that is chemically-extracted from leonardite, lignite, or other coals.  Rather, it is a 100% naturally-occurring carbon, humic acid & fulvic acid source - along with exceptionally high levels of naturally-occurring microbial biomass that can increase nitrogen efficiency by up to 25%.

REV replaces depleted soil carbon & bacterial biomass - and absorbs nutrients to make them more readily available to plants via their root systems.

Welcome to Season 5 of the Beginners Garden Podcast. It's so good to be back with you after a two-week break.

0:07.7

I don't know about you, but I spent the week between Christmas and New Year's going through all of my seed catalogs and placing my first seed orders.

0:16.2

I know many of you have done the same, if my Instagram feed is any indication, but if you haven't,

0:22.0

no worries, you're not behind. In fact, I think I've rushed my seed buying process in the past

0:27.8

when I should have taken it a bit slower. One thing I remember doing as a new gardener is buying

0:33.6

all these seed packets based on what I wanted to grow, and I never considered whether

I needed to start those seeds indoors or sew them directly in the garden. Then I realized I wasn't

0:44.6

quite sure when to start planting altogether. Suddenly I realized I had all these seed packets with

0:51.2

more questions and uncertainties instead of pieces fitting neatly in a thought-out

0:56.3

plan. If any of this resonates with you, buckle up because in the next several weeks to begin

1:02.4

season five, I'm going to be giving garden planning tips I don't know that I've ever shared before.

1:08.5

We'll talk about seeds and what you need to know,

1:11.1

especially as a beginner,

1:12.7

that I hear a few people, if anyone, talking about.

1:16.0

We'll talk about choosing your crops strategically

1:19.0

instead of guessing or impulse buying

1:21.1

from that beautiful seed catalog.

1:23.0

I know, we've all done it.

1:24.8

And I can't say that I haven't already done it this year

1:27.4

a little bit too, but I tried to make say that I haven't already done it this year a little bit too,

1:28.2

but I tried to make sure that I didn't get too carried away. We'll also talk about plant

1:33.4

timing tips that are more than just working around your average last frost date. We'll talk
