we are right in the thick of the holiday season. And I don't know about you, but especially

when I was first starting to garden, I kind of pressed pause on thinking about the garden

this time of year. It's completely natural. And when it came down to deciding what

kind of episode would best serve you right now, I was thinking about honestly different, maybe

holiday themed or more like what I'm reading right now. I think that would have still been a good one

because you know how much I love gardening books. But I have to tell you that this year,

I have had more people than ever talk to me about how they're already planning their gardens for

2021. And I love it. I think the earlier we do start thinking about our next gardens, I really think

it makes a difference in how organized and

well thought out our gardens are going to be. I think it gives us the margin to be able to think

outside the box and think about the bigger picture of the garden, not necessarily only what do I

want to plant and when should I plant and things like that,

but other considerations that we may not think about when we actually start putting pen to paper.
