Welcome to Jabba with Julie. Hannah, I'm going to let you introduce our guest today because she is near and dear to your heart. Go forth. I already feel teary-eyed.

Here we go. Guys, on the air with Java with Julie is my Noel Beck. That's the only introduction she needs. I think you got to fill in some wow what is she is she your child i mean

what's the connection here so the weird thing is so sitting at the table julie noel and myself

both of you started mentoring me when i was 12 years old. You know that? That's crazy. Wow.

That is. Yeah. So Julie, most of our listeners know you're my cousin. So you, I'm sure, started mentoring me.

I don't know before that. But I remember going into seventh grade and kind of understanding that I needed

someone who was really smart to learn from, and you were one of my people.

And then I went to a church here in Akron, and I showed up to youth group, and every week was

something crazy, and they would be eating weird things on stage and, like, doing these wild things.

And there was this little 20-year-old in her converse shoes named Noel Beck.

And she was my youth group leader and taught me all the basics of what it meant to love Jesus.

I very distinctly remember Noel teaching me how to pray when I was 12 years old.

Wow.

I could just talk about Noel this whole episode. And I have to say... This is how she taught me how to pray though. was 12 years old. Wow. I could just talk about Noel this whole episode.

And I have to say, this is how she taught me how to pray, though.

I need to tell you this.

Yes. I don't know that I know this story. I remember this so vividly. Because I remember being in like the youth group and we would break up in a small groups and she will lead my group and I just remember being like I never know what to talk to God about

I remember saying this to you and Noel was like to talk to God about. I remember saying this to you.

And Noel was like, just talk to God like you would anyone. What did you eat for dinner yesterday? I was like, mac and cheese. She's like, tell God you ate mac and cheese. Be like, hey, God, had mac and cheese today. It was real great. I'm like, that's what I remember. So anyway. Yeah. And then Noel's just, Noel and Julie, both of you have been, I would say in my 20s, in my top, probably five people who I think love me the most and have disciples and influenced me the most.

So the fact that you were both sitting here together is just emotionally overwhelming to me.

So, Noel, we have Hannah in common. We do.
