I just had coffee this morning with a gentleman who's become a friend. He's a former governor.

He's also teaching a class at Vanderbilt. It's Governor Haslam here in Tennessee. He's been on the pockets

where he's teaching class at Vanderbilt. And he told me probably 90% of the students are idealist liberals.

Now this is a Republican governor who's very centric kind of he's not even

centric he's just common sense guy yeah and he talked about how they come to the

table with these preconceived ideas about the world right he was talking about this

to defend the idea that we really don't know what truth is because we

buy into these kind of crazy ideas on the left and the right.

And one of them is that the 1% are not paying their fair way. Their fair share of taxes.

They're fair share of taxes. Yeah.

Here's the actual data.

1% of the population of America makes 20% of the money.

Yes.

And pays 37% of all federal taxes.

Interesting.

I've never heard that.
