Welcome back to the perfume room. We have been on a short little two-week break, and I have

missed you, and I'm so happy to be back. My send of the day today is Kurej Hypermusk or Hypermusk.

And I have to say, as I've made my way through samples of the Kareg line, Hypermusk continues to stand out as one of my favorites.

It has a kind of sterile name and a sort of sterile silver bottle, which I actually think is really pretty.

But despite both

of these things, I find the scent to be an absolute comfort. Texturally, it evokes the

sensation of burrowing your nose into a bathroom towel or your favorite stuffed animal. Its base is a velvety, dusty, gentle, sort of cocoa vanilla

musk that recalls the specific sweetness of like a frothy steam milk vanilla latte and the softness

of, like I said, your plushiest stuffed animal. Mixed in there, however, to add just the perfect amount of contrast is

this soothing mint note. To be clear, I would never describe this as an aromatic scent. It's not.

It's just enough mint to add a little bit of pitch and a little bit of greenness. And I have to

say, I have always wanted a fragrance. I have been chasing the elusive scent of something that smells like my childhood stuffed animal.

Bunny.

As a comparison, if you have smelled Jason's newest launch on a cloud, which is another comforting mint gourmand launch that I really enjoy, on a cloud feels much more mint-centered.

That one smells like a mint gourmet that immediately recalls candy references of the filling

of junior mints, orbit sweet mint gum, that distinct marshmallow mint aroma of white tic-tacks.

You get it.

Hypermusk, by comparison, feels like a warm, round, Tonka bean-esque musk the entire way through.

And in this one, mince function is supporting after.

At the risk of acquiring yet another musk, this one might be full bottle worthy for me.
