| 0:00.0 | Yo, today's QOTS. It's not about the success I achieve, but the legacy I leave. Here we go. |
| 0:30.0 | Welcome back to the QOTS. Show I'm your host, Sean Crox and the Sean Crox and |
| 0:37.8 | dot com. We got John Gray on the show today. He's going to talk about a hugely important topic |
| 0:44.7 | that I dedicated an entire episode of my mindset coach solo podcast to. And it's about defining |
| 0:53.8 | what success means to you. You know, back in the day, success to me meant, you know, making |
| 1:02.8 | millions of dollars and having a big house and having a G wagon in the driveway and having |
| 1:10.5 | all these shoes and stuff, right? And over time, the definition of success has changed tremendously. |
| 1:19.4 | Like it doesn't hurt to have some money. It doesn't hurt to have some nice things. That's cool. |
| 1:25.1 | But today's success to me is having time. Like time is the new wealth. If you have lots of time |
| 1:36.0 | to do the things you want to do and spend time with the people who really matter to you, |
| 1:41.6 | I to me that success. And that doesn't mean that that has to be success to you. But to me, that |
| 1:49.8 | success, I will turn down money. I will turn down opportunities if they get into my time. If they |
| 1:58.1 | take away from the time I want to have to do the things I want to do, I love hanging out with my |
| 2:02.3 | dog. I love reading books. I love hanging out with my friends and having energy not being |
| 2:10.5 | burnt out when I do so. I those are the things that matter to me and that's what success is. And so |
| 2:16.0 | I encourage you to really think about today what does success really look like for you? Not |
| 2:23.5 | anybody else, but for you. John Gray's coming up. |
| 2:30.0 | If you are going to define success, you got to find out what your truth is. |
| 2:35.0 | I don't know what your truth is. I'm just sharing my perspective. I'm not trying to proselytize. |
| 2:39.7 | This is not that moment. I just want you to be true to who you are because I don't believe in |
| 2:45.7 | accidental lives. Please hear me. I don't think you can just sneak into the earth. I believe you |
| 2:51.1 | are spoken into the earth. And so you are necessary for a particular problem that only you can solve. |
