Welcome back to the QODS!

We accept that.

We are going to take a look at the questions that are going to happen along the way, and just like you stop for gas on that road trip, along the trip to where you want to go on your success journey, you are going to fail.

There's no way around it. You are going to fail. There is no way you can protect yourself from making mistakes, hitting obstacles, and failing.

It's part of it.

The problem is, sometimes a lot of us don't want to expect it, and when it does happen, we make it about ourselves.

We make it about our worth as a person. But it has nothing to do with that. It is just an expected part of the trip.

If you are not experiencing failure, along the way to your dream, then your dream isn't big enough. It's probably something you've already done before, so you've navigated it before, so you can avoid the pitfalls.

I'm just going to go ahead and do it again. That's not really having a goal.

I just want you to think about that and expect reality when it comes to getting to where you want to go. And again, not making it about yourself, it's just part of the journey.

Now, you don't like your childhood. Fix it. I didn't get to go to any amusement parks. It's open. It's open. But I'm 68 years old.

You want to go to the amusement parks and want to be 32. Get your head out of your rain. You're 68. You missed out on amusement parks. Get over there.

They're open. They'll let you in. You could do anything you want. If you don't like something about yourself, are you shy? Are you nervous? Are you a lousy cook? Are you not coordinated?

Have a lot of people tell me that? I'm just not coordinated. It's what I call the sea syndrome. They'll take a basketball. They'll go out. They'll never play it in their life. They'll go out. They'll go like this.

They'll miss. See? I told you. I could never play this game. And that's it for the rest of their life. They don't do that.

Getting something so crucial, failure is wonderful. You are looking at the king of failure. Right here. Yeah. I failed a lot in my life. Still do all the time.

Babe Ruth, struck out more than anybody in the history of baseball. The year he hit 60 home runs. You want to hit home runs? You better be willing to strike out.

You better be willing to fall down. What do you do when you fall down? You say, see, I told you I was a failure. Or do you get up and say, well, that didn't work. Don't do that.
