0:13.2	Serving as the assistant platoon commander in the late 90s
0:17.9	Note that means you have no war going on. That's what it means. So we were training

0:24.5	Hard and this platoon that I was in at the time we were going through urban training urban combat training
0:32.3	And we were pretty far along in the training and we were starting to get our our
0:37.7	Simulation which is like fake bullets our simulation and paintball wars on

0:48.9	Like multi-day operations
0:50.9	So almost like a scenario like you've got a full scenario going on like there's bad guys in the city
0:57.4	Yeah, you know, it's the concrete city the fake city
1:00.4	With concrete buildings that are pretty much just the shells buildings

1:07.8	We're going against
1:09.8	Up for seals we call them up for that stands for opposing force so the opposing force there are other seals
1:15.5	Who are role players pretending to be bad guys? They know our tactics. They know our techniques. They know our procedures
1:20.2	And on this particular day they had captured one of our seals from our platoon
1:25.8	The bad guys the role players was that part of the scenario or just they made it part of the scenario
1:30.7	So whatever they did they caused confusion. They caused mayhem they end up with one of our guys
1:35.1	Okay, just on their own though. That wasn't part of the overall training
1:38.1	Well, it is you know when I was running training we always did that too
